What This Criterion Requires

CRS assigns age points to the principal applicant based on age at invitation / defined calculation milestones. Points peak in core working-age bands and decline afterward. There is no separate “age test” beyond identity documents that prove date of birth.

What Officers Look For

• Consistent date of birth across passport, profile, and civil documents
• No unexplained identity discrepancies
• Correct principal-applicant age used for CRS (spouse age does not replace it)
