Cookie Policy

Effective / last updated: September 8, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Case Studio, Inc.(“Case Studio,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies when you use Visa Engine (the “Service”). It is informational only and should be read with our Privacy Policy. It is not legal advice.

1. What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We also use similar technologies such as local storage, pixels, scripts, and software development kits (SDKs) that collect device or usage information. For simplicity, this policy refers to all of them as “cookies” unless noted otherwise.

2. How we use them

We use cookies to:

  • Keep you signed in and secure the Service;
  • Remember preferences such as theme or language where stored locally;
  • Understand traffic, product usage, performance, and errors so we can operate and improve Visa Engine;
  • Measure marketing and conversion performance when analytics or ad tags are configured for our environment.

3. Categories and tools we use

Strictly necessary

  • Authentication / session — Supabase Auth (including Google OAuth session cookies) keeps you signed in and enforces access controls. Required for the signed-in product.
  • Security / infrastructure — cookies or headers used for transport security, abuse protection, and reliable delivery of the site.
  • Preferences— local storage or cookies for theme and content-language preferences so the UI loads as you left it.

Analytics and performance

  • Vercel Analytics— aggregated traffic and Web Analytics for the hosted app.
  • Vercel Speed Insights — Core Web Vitals and performance measurements.
  • PostHog (EU Cloud)— product analytics, exception capture, and session recording across the Service (including signed-in pages). Form inputs are masked in recordings where configured. Events may be proxied via our /ingest path.

Marketing and measurement (when configured)

  • Google Tag Manager (GTM) — loads and manages measurement tags when a GTM container ID is set for the environment.
  • Google Analytics (gtag) — page views and related measurement when a GA measurement ID is set and GTM is not used (to avoid double-firing).
  • LinkedIn Insight Tag — conversion and campaign measurement when a LinkedIn partner ID is set and GTM is not used.

Which of the marketing tools load depends on environment configuration. First-party product analytics (PostHog, Vercel) may run independently of GTM.

4. Managing cookies

You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent sign-in or other core features from working. Browser controls for third-party cookies and tracking prevention also affect some of the tools above. This page is a disclosure of what we use; it does not itself change which tags load.

5. Updates

We may update this Cookie Policy when our tools or practices change. The date above reflects the latest version.
