Proof of the course language, usually at least B2, where the university's admission does not already confirm it and the student will not acquire it in a preparatory course.
Students show the language of their course, usually at least B2, unless the university's admission already confirms it. Proof is required only where it was not checked at admission and will not be acquired in a preparatory course.
Use IELTS or TOEFL for courses taught in English, and a Goethe-Institut, telc, ÖSD, TestDaF or ECL certificate for courses taught in German. Students admitted to a preparatory German course or Studienkolleg show the level that admission requires.
