Fair Work High Income Threshold

What This Criterion Requires

You must demonstrate an ability to attract a salary at or above the Fair Work high income threshold in Australia. This is commonly shown through:

1. Current earnings at/above the threshold, or
2. An Australian job offer at that level, or
3. Credible evidence you could command such pay in the Australian market (“ability to attract”)

The threshold is indexed (examples: AUD 183,100 for 2025–26; AUD 190,100 from 1 July 2026). Confirm the operative figure for your period on Fair Work / Home Affairs sources. High earnings alone do not win the visa if achievement and nomination pillars are weak.

What Assessors Look For

• Realistic Australian labour-market comparators for your occupation
• Clear base salary vs variable pay / equity
• Currency conversion and role comparability when using foreign packages
• Independent benchmarks (surveys, recruiter letters) when arguing marketability
